Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Reservation
All hire bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Luxury Rental Company Ltd. A booking is only confirmed once a written confirmation has been issued by email and the required deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
2. Driver Requirements
The hirer must be at least 25 years of age and hold a full, valid UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. Proof of identity (passport or national ID card) and proof of address (utility bill dated within the last 3 months) must be presented at the time of collection. Additional drivers must meet the same criteria and be present at collection.
3. Insurance & Liability
All vehicles are provided with fully comprehensive insurance as standard. An excess amount applies to each vehicle and will be confirmed at the time of booking. The hirer is liable for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during the hire period up to the excess amount. Additional excess reduction cover may be available at an extra cost.
4. Security Deposit
A fully refundable security deposit is required prior to vehicle collection. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle being hired and will be confirmed in your booking confirmation. The deposit is pre-authorised on a credit or debit card and will be released within 7-14 working days of the vehicle being returned in satisfactory condition.
5. Mileage
Each hire includes a daily mileage allowance as specified in your booking confirmation. Additional mileage will be charged at the rate specified in your hire agreement. Mileage is recorded at the point of collection and return.
6. Vehicle Condition & Return
A condition report will be completed at the point of collection and return. The hirer is responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as collected, with the same fuel level. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unacceptable condition. The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the hire start date will receive a full refund of any payments made. Cancellations made between 7-14 days before will be subject to a 50% charge. Cancellations made less than 7 days before, or no-shows, will be charged the full hire cost. We recommend that hirers take out their own travel insurance.
8. Prohibited Use
The vehicle must not be used for racing, track days, or any form of motorsport. The vehicle must not be driven outside of the United Kingdom without prior written consent. Sub-letting or re-hiring of the vehicle is strictly prohibited. The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
9. Delivery & Collection
Nationwide delivery and collection is available at additional cost. Delivery charges depend on location and will be quoted at the time of booking. The hirer must be present to accept delivery and sign the hire agreement and condition report.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
